Hello DC is a citizen-focused mobile platform introduced during Farida Khanam’s tenure as District Commissioner of Dhaka to make district administration services more accessible and convenient. The platform enables citizens to submit applications and complaints, share suggestions, track requests, access information on land, licensing, relief, social security and other services, and seek appointments with the Deputy Commissioner. Officially launched on 21 July 2026, Hello DC aims to reduce unnecessary office visits, save time and expenses, and improve communication with government offices. Initially accessible through hellodc.bd and Facebook, the platform represents a step toward more transparent, technology-driven and citizen-friendly public services.
